
Valentino Vondenhoff currently holds the position of consultant at IB Consultancy in Brussels. In November 2011 Valentino started working for IB Consultancy as an analyst. Currently Valentino works on a number of projects, including the ‘Ro-Ro’ Project (a study concerning measures to detect and deter the bringing of improvised explosive devices on-board passenger ships and Ro-Ro Ferries) for the European Commission DG Transport and Mobility and the FP7 study IFREACT. With a Master’s degree in European Studies our office in the heart of the European Union is where he wants to be.
Before joining IB Consultancy he worked as a freelance journalist for an online magazine. During his studies Valentino did internships in Bolivia and Costa Rica. In La Paz he did a research into the political situation in Bolivia at a socio-economic research institute. During his internship at the Embassy of the Netherlands in San José he worked at media and culture department. In February 2011 Valentino graduated as a master in the selective study programme European Policy at the University of Amsterdam.
He is proficient in Dutch and English, confident in speaking Spanish and is able to communicate at a basic level in German.
