Andrew has spent most of his professional career as an Officer in the UK Royal Air Force. Between 2001 and 2005 he served as a NATO Military Staff Officer where his primary concern was nuclear policy and nuclear weapons safety and surety, as well as CBRN Defence strategies, policies and plans, WMD counter-proliferation, and Missile Defence. From 2005 Andrew was an accredited diplomat and Political Staff Officer at NATO Headquarters in the Policy and Plans Division. Here he assumed a key leadership role in transforming NATO’s CBRN Defence capabilities, and liaised between NATO, the EU, NATO’s Partners across the Globe and international defence industry. Andrew joined ib consultancy as a Senior Consultant in August 2010. He chairs the company’s international conferences and advises on the REACT and CATCH projects.
