IB Consultancy develops training courses in two of its fields of expertise: CBRNe and European funding opportunities. We provide two types of training: class courses and e-learning courses. Class courses are given by our trainers, who are experts in the world of CBRNe and European projects, while you can enroll in our e-learning courses from behind your desk or at home using our state-of-the-art ICT facilities. Generally, you can participate individually in one of our courses, but team training provides the opportunity of customising the course to your wishes.

Class courses

Currently, there are four class courses in the IBC training catalogue. Our FP7 experts explain you the world of EU funding schemes, rules and regulations in our FP7 training courses, whereas our CBRNe experts developed a CBRNe awareness course.

  • FP7 Proposal Writing Course
    Submitting an FP7 bid is not easy: only 15% of all bids is successful. IB Consultancy’s FP7 experts, with a track record of over 50% successful bids, will explain what it takes to be successful in the world of FP7.
  • FP7 Project Implementation Course
    Once you have won an FP7 bid, the challenge of turning your project into a success arises. This course will give you all the tools needed to prepare you for all kinds of legal, financial and planning challenges.
  • EU Institutions Funding Awareness Course
    On the European level, there are numerous defence and security related programmes. This course will help you to identify the right programmes and funding opportunities for you.
  • CBRNe Terrorism Awareness Course
    Chances a CBRNe incident happens in your facility are small, but these incidents have a huge impact. This course helps your personnel to limit the impact of a CBRNe incident by providing them with practical countermeasures.

For some courses (such as the FP7 Proposal Writing Course) individual tickets are sold. Other courses (such as the CBRNe Terrorism Awareness Course) are exclusively given to groups and are fully tailored to your situation. IBC’s strength is in this custom-made training: the FP7 Proposal Writing Course and the Project Implementation Course are tailored towards your proposal or project, in the FP7 Funding Awareness Course we will identify the specific FP7 opportunities for you and the CBRNe Terrorism Awareness Course is fully made for the threats relevant to your facility.

E-learning courses

We provide various CBRNe e-learning courses through our in-house e-learning platform. E-learning has many advantages over ‘real-life’ learning:

  • It is effective: the student can study at a pace and a time that suits him best.
  • It is efficient: costs are much lower than actual training in a classroom or in the field.
  • It is consistent: the materials for the training can be used multiple times and the training is the same for everyone.

You can participate individually in the courses, but group participation is also possible.
