On 17 June members of the Thai Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation visited the IB Consultancy office in Brussels. On the agenda was a presentation by managing director Ilja M. Bonsen on the work of IB Consultancy, with reference to specific European projects focusing on CBRN crisis management. Special guest Tristan Simonart, of the European Commission, spoke about the EU Seventh Framework Programme’s (FP7) security research on crisis management. Also discussed was the CBRNe Asia conference taking place in Bangkok on 23-27 April 2012. This was the delegation’s first visit to IB Consultancy and Brussels.
