IB Consultancy is seeking a marketing communication trainee to assist and be partly responsible for all communication tasks.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Support in the organisation and marketing of multiple events (project meetings, workshops, and conferences in Europe and Asia),
- Writing and editing of press releases, website texts, and other promotion materials,
- Assistance in producing, developing and posting website content (company website, project website and event websites)
- Working on social media like Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook,
- Media monitoring,
- Involved in the development and responsible for the implementation of the overall company communication policy.
Requirements
- Masters/postgraduate degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or similar,
- Proficiency in English (level C1) and preferably able to speak Dutch and a third language,
- Have no criminal record that could result in refusal of a security clearance (Restricted level),
- Have international experience or shown interest in international and intercultural issues,
- Affinity and interest in working in the security industry,
- Willingness to travel,
- Have the ability to work independently and with little supervision,
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and preferably Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and WordPress.
- Have good organisational skills and practical attitude,
- Working in a hectic environment is a challenge and you are flexible, proactive and accurate;
We are a company that has a very informal and flat organisational structure. We will set goals and expect you to reach them. Do not expect us to take your hand and tell you what to do. If you ask for help, you will get it, but it is your responsibility to deliver what you promised to produce!
Compensation
For a full time, six month traineeship we pay a traineeship compensation of €450 per month. All university graduates currently employed by IB Consultancy started in a traineeship. After this traineeship you have the opportunity to be hired as a communication employee.
