Once an FP7 proposal is positively evaluated, a consortium comes upon the rules and regulations of the 7th Framework Programme, set by the European Commission. Project participants and project managers have to deal with a sometimes puzzling FP7 vocabulary, and strict rules on finances and reporting. IB Consultancy developed a course to especially guide FP7 projects participants through this jungle of FP7 rules and regulations.
The two day intensive course took place on the 25th and 26th of August at the conference centre of DUZS, the National Protection and Rescue Directorate of the Republic of Croatia in Split, Croatia. The course provided its participants, all newcomers to the world of FP7, the skills needed to successfully implement FP7 projects. The course gave insight in a number of themes related to the successful implementation of FP7 projects, including financial rules, reporting procedures and project communication.
Participants included representatives of Blücher, CBRNe World, DUZS, Hotzone Solutions and NBC Sys.
The course was taught by Managing Director Ilja Bonsen and the consultants Alexandre Custaud, Elsa Schrier en Mathijs van de Waardt, IB Consultancy’s specialists in the field of FP7.
